In February 2010, Clinton spoke at Abedin’s college, where she was first introduced by Abedin and then praised the work of the terror-tied professor:
“I have to say a special word about Dr. Saleha Abedin,” Clinton said. “You heard her present the very exciting partnerships that have been pioneered between colleges and universities in the United States and this college. And it is pioneering work to create these kinds of relationships.
“But I have to confess something that Dr. Abedin did not,” Clinton continued, “and that is that I have almost a familial bond with this college. Dr. Abedin’s daughter, one of her three daughters, is my deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedin, who started to work for me when she was a student at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.”
As WND was first to report, Abedin once reportedly represented the Muslim World League, or MWL, a Saudi-financed charity that has spawned Islamic groups accused of terror ties. One of the groups was declared by the U.S. government to be an official al-Qaida front.
Abedin has been quoted in numerous press accounts as both representing the MWL and serving as a delegate for the charity.

I’ve never referred to the hood on my jackets and coats before as a hoodie. Since it has been mentioned a lot in our nation’s discourse I’ve been compelled to write that I will not let anyone intimidate me into not wearing my hoodie on a jacket or coat that I’ve bought specifically for its use.
I will not give up wearing my hoodie on my jacket or coat.
Trayvon Martin’s (age 17) death have sprouted all sorts of twisted dialogue about the way he died, the way he lived, and, on the misfortune and defenseless George Zimmerman (age 28), who at the time was armed and in a car (the safest place he could have been, considering all things). Yet Mr. Zimmerman ended up being the guy on the ground yelling help (according to a witness), with a broken nose and a gash on the back of his head, and still able to be in possession of the gun that shot Martin. None of this makes good sense to me. I imagine that I’m not alone.
The left have propelled this tragedy to a level where the vigilante groups have a bounty out on Zimmerman’s head, dead or alive. Radio and TV talk show hosts on the right blames Martin’s death on his hoodie. It seems they are afraid the public outcry will cause the banning of guns.
Still, a young teen-ager is dead. A tragedy that could have been avoided.
I will not let anyone intimidate me into not wearing my hoodie. We’ve all worn them. Ever since our mom’s and dad’s wrapped our stinking butts up and laid us in a cradle.
STOP with the fear and intimidation, please!

R.I.P. Trayvon Martin
Our nation’s discourse on contraception, abortion, and health care mandates has risen to a level where accusations of deceit and being called a ’woman-hater’ have taken over, and even the youngest of minds are left wondering, “What about the issues of STD’s, rape and incest, and sex trafficking of children and teens?” Need I say that these issues are the results of humans unable to take responsibility for their actions and their failure to use self-discipline? Yes, we’ve all heard it before. So why don’t these issues stay in the national spotlight, as well?
There is a bigger issue in this contraception and health care mandate debate and it would behoove the American people to wake up and pay attention. If you’re going to be outraged at someone or something make darn sure you know all the facts. Do your research.
U.S. Teenage Pregnancy Rate Raises Concerns

Indeed, from the CDC’s research it appears that misperception, not simply a lack of resources, is one of the key components in this increasing rate of U.S. teenage pregnancies. The study appears to claim that, ultimately, more adequate education and prevention is imperative to stagnating and reversing this trend.
“More adequate education and prevention is imperative.” What????
Politics took away funding for abstinence-only education because it claimed it didn’t stop teens from having unprotected sex. Now they say “more adequate education and prevention”? I thought the comprehensive safe sex education they were presenting in schools and claim students need most were going to lower teen pregnancy rate.
Did I think wrong? What do you think is happening with the narrative on sexual education for our children and teens?

President Obama has a new budget and a new Treasury study that promise “tax reform.” He says that he wants to abolish “dozens of tax loopholes,” but he also proposes a boatload of new special-interest tax breaks. The president says that he wants everyone to “play by the same rules.” His tax plan does the opposite.
Serious economists know that tax reform means lower marginal tax rates, simplification and a neutral tax base that doesn’t distort investment. Those were the goals of the bipartisan Tax Reform Act of 1986 and of many reform proposals since. However, that basic understanding of tax reform has eluded the Obama administration.
I would think that our well-educated, highly resourceful politicians could fix the tax code to make it simpler and fairer to the American people.
Oh shucks…nevermind…I’m thinking out loud again.
