Today is the 1st day of the month of June 2012 and like all other 1st day of the past months I capture the morning sun as it’s rising. Today it’s behind the clouds so this is what my 1st morning of the month looks like. I decided to use it for the Weekly Photo Challenge: TODAY.
It isn’t one of my best photos but it is what it is and, of course, I didn’t expect to enter it in a challenge. The morning had the potential of a downpour and the blur there is a bird passing by.

What a wonderful idea to capture the first morning of every month. I really like that idea…but I am not a morning person, so the rising sun is out for me. Maybe the sunset ! Thank you very much.

You’re welcome, siggiofmaine. You’ll enjoy it! I’ve really enjoyed seeing what the days will be like. I also capture the sunset of the last day to close each month out. Some of the days I thought would be too cloudy for a great picture turned out to be great sunrises and sunsets. I’m planning to feature my photos next year and hopefully get more bloggers to join in with their photos. It gives me a greater appreciation of things beyond our control and being mindful of taking things for granted. Peace and blessings to you!

It would be a dull world if all the photo’s were the same. Thisone makes a statement of tranquility just in its’ absence of color. I think it’s magnificent.
