  4. Nice choice for contrast! I do like how the new power lines sort of fade into the scene. Many beautiful nature scenes have been marred by lines criss-crossing the view. It’s part of the price we pay for modern conveniences though.

  5. I am often wondering or trying to remember what places would look like without all the utility wires
that hamper the enjoyment of views. Thank you for pointing out the upper set of wires and the contrast between the lines.
    Peace,

  10. i had to look at the large-size view to see the grey wires – and i agree with you!
even so, your tree in silhouette makes for a nice contrast to the blue sky in the background.
    thanks for sharing. :)

  11. Brilliant, its obvious really isn’t it?I wonder why no-one thought of that before! I’ve spent lots of time editing out cables from otherwise beautiful scenes. :-)

  18. Where I live, phone poles and wires are a colossal nuissance to photography. I wish it was like England for that. They run moset of their cables underground so you can shoot vertually anywhere without including an unsightly web in your images.

  19. It’s the contrast in life that spice up thinks. They make anything interesting and wonderful. Beautiful image. The clear blue sky in contrast to the pure white clouds caught my attention. Just a sight to behold.

    • Hi, Touch! I’m sorry you can’t see them. They’re running left to right across the top of the photo. If you look at the crown of the tree first you might be able to spot them better or by moving your screen back and forth. Did you try clicking on the photo to enlarge it?
It’s really nice that someone thought of that idea and began implementing it in the neighborhoods. Hopefully they’ll make their way to your neighborhood soon.
I’m glad you were able to stop by. Much appreciated. :-)
