Country Schoolhouse - Weekly Photo Challenge: Regret
My mother received her education in this country schoolhouse. After my siblings and I were born it became the place where my whole family would meet for our annual reunion. I took this picture in 2006, a few years after we had stopped using it, and a couple of years later it was torn down. I regret not having the information beforehand that it was being demolished. I would have loved to preserved its rich history.

Back in the early 1990′s M.C. Hammer sung, U Can’t Touch This and today with his latest venture it seems U can’t stop him. Known for bringing hip-hop into pop mainstream, the rapper, actor, preacher, and entrepreneur has an impressive history. He has won many awards, including three Grammy Awards, and have sold over 50 million records worldwide. Also known for his well choreographed dance moves and trademark Hammer Pants, many young girls dreamed of becoming his back-up dancer. Eventually his performance group became too large for him to finance and contributed to his musical downfall. Recently, Hammer launched his own search engine, WireDoo, which is still in pre-beta. The man is Too Legit to Quit.
Take a look and see what M.C. Hammer is up to today. Personally, I can’t wait to use his search engine. If you’re interested in helping to test drive WireDoo beta, sign up at WireDoo
